NSW:NSW woman stabbed to death, man arrested
SYDNEY, Aug 10 AAP - A Sydney woman has died from a stab wound to her neck and police
have arrested a man at the scene.
Officers were called to a unit block in Commercial Road at Lalor Park, in Sydney's
west, about 11am (AEST) on Wednesday after receiving reports of a stabbing.
They found a 44-year-old woman on the balcony of a first floor unit with a stab wound
to her neck.
Police attempted to revive her but she died at the scene.
Officers arrested a 36-year-old man at the unit and seized a knife.
He was taken into custody and will be interviewed by detectives.
Police established a crime scene and plan to speak to local residents to determine
what led to the incident.
