Fed: Capital expenditure up 2 p/c in Dec quarter: ABS

The Australian Bureau of Statistics says new capital expenditure increased two per
cent in the December quarter.

Capital expenditure hit $14.3 billion for the quarter, up 2.5 per cent over the year.

But spending on buildings and structures fell 1.7 per cent to $3.3 billion, an annual
growth rate of 3.6 per cent.
